Cognitive Computing InfographicThis project, using Piktochart, involved a review of the history and growth of Cognitive Computing in the technology industry. Most interesting to me were the possible applications for cognitive computing in the travel, health, and safety industries.
As an instructional designer, creating attractive and informative infographics is a skill that is called upon for many projects.

Internet AddictionThis project on Internet Addiction, created with Prezi, involved researching the topic from a variety of sources including Wired magazine, the New York Daily News, the Sundance Film Festival, and Forbes.
This assignment helped paint a broad picture of the darker side of technology, especially how video game addiction and other Internet compulsive disorders can mask depression, anxiety, other mental health disorders, and learning disabilities. The project completed in this course provided practical, valuable information for recognizing these disorders in preparation for my career in academia.
